1)   Fireworks and Friendly Locals –

As many of you may know, Cork is a beautiful city overlooking a huge harbour full of boats and picturesque scenery.

Unbelievable craic, fantastic music and an atmosphere which makes you want to dance…and that’s not even the start of what’s in store at Ceili by the Lee.

You’ll meet some fantastic people, and dance instructor Damien will have you up on your feet and laughing in no time. Expect traditional Irish jigs and wide variety of fine wines and whisky’s.

1)   Medieval Banquet at Bunratty Castle –

Set in the Munster province in the south of the country, Limerick is lined with beautiful Georgian townhouses which overlook the gorgeous River Shannon.

Also standing close is the idyllic Bunratty Castle, which offers a special medieval banquet for all the family. What’s more, all the staff dress up and act out a medieval style scene. Bookings are available throughout the Christmas period.

2)   Flannery’s Bar –

There’s no better way so see in the new year than at Limericks best bar.

Flannery’s has been somewhat an institution over the last few decades, with people from far and wide enjoying their selection of fine wines, whisky’s and traditional Guinness pints.

1)   The Blue Bar –

Reminiscent of an old American speakeasy, The Blue bar’s interior is absolutely stunning, so don’t be deceived by the outside.

Ask nicely and the staff will even let you go behind the bar and pour your own pint! Fantastic atmosphere, great music, and pool tables upstairs.

2)   The Devils Menu –

Ironically named the Devil’s Menu, the food in this restaurant is more heavenly than anything else! The personal touch of the staff and their willingness to go the extra mile really does set it apart from most other eateries.
